No not this new elignment coming up bc 105 is over the 104.9 cut off, so they are in 2A in everything.

The previous number was 96 I think so they were in 1A the last 2 years and yes could have played 6man the last two season (2018, 2019).

Here is a map I created with all the sixman schools in Texas. I have not finished the non-UIL list.https://drive.google.com/open?id=1KMB6ip7U996Xr10iEolXpXCcDIcfXoS3&usp=sharing

The UIL will more than likely go to 4 team districts with a few 5 teams thrown in to get to 16 districts- 4 in each region.

If all 77 field teams, then 13 5 team districts would be likely. Unless there are some 6 team districts, the number of 4 team districts would be low.

That's so cool they almost won the 2A State Title! The 2019 Hamlin Pied Pipers might make a good movie.

Tomorrow’s the big day! Will district 1 be in the panhandle or way out west? Will districts be bigger? Will many schedules be filled? Will anyone post in this topic or will it be all on the main board? Will Zephyr and Jonesboro be in separate districts???????

Yup, figured as much, just burned out of playing the same teams for a while, that and I hate driving to Jonesboro.

Do you usually drive through Priddy on the crooked roads to go from Zephyr to Jonesboro? Or do you drive a good bit further and stay on bigger, straighter roads?

I guess that I have too much time on my hands to sit around and think. So, there are 32 districts in the UIL side on things. Of those 32, 24 are five team district. What are the odds that any of them will end in a five-way tie. Would the point system work to decide the playoff teams? Has the point system ever ended in a tie?

A three way tie for second in a four team district happened several times in the era of the byes. I believe those three teams flipped a coin, so you could flip with five teams if the points ended up in a tie.
