DL: 2 or 3 point stance

I can see the benefit of using either, but was curious what most coaches prefer the DL to use and why

Man coverage 2 point is better , if your coverage is on the line. 3 if you are the blitz . If responsibilities change often stay 2.

My personal opinion is that if you go 3pt on DL we are gonna cut you just about every time...if you cant get your hands on me fast enough how can you keep from being cut? If your super quick and you get in the gap then you might have a chance to get through fast enough but an average OL should be able to cut you or slow you down enough. A good DL should beable to do everything you need from a 2pt stance, coverage, flow, stunt, jam, and get off a cutblock.
