Ref. 51eleven's post.
Yes corporations are people but your comments seem to address the 'Big Boys". There are a lot of small corporations (individual mom and pop businesses, ranches, farms, etc.) that ACTUALLY DO breathe, bleed and DIE.
Those folks are very common sense, compassionate, patriotic and conservative with their money and who or what they give it to or for.
Most give it to support local teams, local folks, and local worthwhile projects.
The trouble is that most people are educated by far left liberals (let ME spend YOUR money for you), to believe ALL corporations are bad guys.
By painting everyone with the same brush where the word "Corporation" appears, people do a terrible disservice to their friends and neighbors, at the same time they attack the enemy, the mean, bad ole' Corporations.

That's quite the brush you are painting people with FCSA. It is hard to believe that most people are educated by far left liberals.... if that were the case America wouldn't be so conservative in their beliefs. Would you consider the vast majority of teachers in the Texas school system to have been educated by such?

Aside from the church affiliated universities, and in many cases them also, yes, the brush FCSA used covers accurately the liberalism that is pervasive in our universities. It was that way when I was matriculating at John Tarleton Institute back in the dark ages and hasn't diminished in my experience.
Socialism is not creeping in on us, it proudly announces itself as our savior and the only way for the world to achieve equality.

I officially have renounced my old alma mater of UT Austin after today. Removing the statues and their reasons for it are crap.

To Topher80, if you Really Believe that the vast majority of All Colleges and Universities are not heavily populated by left leaning or left wing professors, If you Really believe that the NEA, and other teacher affiliated organizations are not run by left leaning or left wing radicals, if you Really believe that the so called news media is not inhabited and controlled by left wing radicals that wouldn't know the truth if it came up and bit them, then you are so far out there that no amount of Reality would register in your brain.
And before you get on your high horse about me being down on public school teachers as a whole, or group, let me inform you that my wife is a retired teacher. Two of my sisters are retired teachers. I have nephews and nieces that are still teaching, and by and large they totally agree with what I have said.
Actually, I can't imagine anyone with your ideas is actually on this site. I think that you probably just an agitator that just likes to stir things up and sit back and laugh.

FCSA, my goodness... that is an awful lot of anger. I have been a secondary school teacher for the past 15 years as is my wife. I was educated at a university where virtually all of my professors came from Oxford or Cambridge. Saying that, they were ancient and had very strong views against the socialism which swept over the British Isles after WW2. I am not on my high horse, nor am I preaching to you in any way. In fact, if you re-read my posts, I am asking for opinions and views to better understand what is going through the mind of the average American. How you equate that to me being an agitator (or troll, let's be honest) is something that is quite far-fetched. I have been a member of this forum since 2009 and I love six man football and the great republic of Texas. Just because I view your country and the world slightly differently shouldn't mean that you can berate me for asking legitimate questions. I am and always have been friendly, open, and willing to listen to different points of view from any side of the coin. You have, unfairly, labelled me as a left liberal because I think Donald Trump is a disgrace. The United States of America deserves better than him... Hilary would have been just as bad and y'all deserve better than anything that both parties are serving up to the general public.

smokeyjoe: Socialism is not the answer for America. It never has been and never will be. Countries, like my own, pushing our values and views upon you saying it is a "saviour" is baloney. It will never work and someone, somehow, has to figure out how to, truly, make America great again. I wish I had the answer cause I'd write a book and make $$$$ so I could donate the money to granger ;) LOL

Both parties are crap. In fact, most of the political "elites" worldwide are crap. The bureaucracies in every government on the planet are too big and are out of control and the "political correctness" is ruining everything.

Just a dumb question. Since every thing even closely related to the Confederacy and the War of Northern Aggression is politically incorrect and socially unacceptable, will there be Antifa protests at Robert Lee football games this year?

With as many folks I talked to up there detesting Trudeau Lite, it makes me wonder how his party got a majority in Parliament.....

To Topher80, I don't know where you saw "an awful lot of anger". Like President Trump, I prefer to be blunt and brutally Honest. No point in beating around the bush. Whatever anger you saw, it wasn't from me, when I get angry, which is not often, there is no doubt that I am angry, so with that clear, lets be clear about your other drivel.
Professors from Oxford and Cambridge during WW2, came awlfully close to speaking German as a national language before the hicks, hayseeds, cowboys and other various rednecks and deplorables from the U.S. showed up, so I guess that 70 years ago those profs might just have had a slightly different mindset from the Leftist Leaning Liberal "Professors", and other liberal elitists that are the majority of what you find on most College and University campuses today. That is a FACT JACK! We have to live with it for now.
As far as you being upset by my suggesting you were an agitator that starts something and sits back and laughs, that was an attempt to give you a so called "backhanded" compliment. But somehow you got offended. So SNOWFLAKE, take your blankie and go to your SAFE SPACE and wait til' Mumsey comes to save you.
Trump is not a disgrace, you and people like you are. Washington D.C. is full of Republicons, and Democraps that comprise an inbred culture of elitists whose sole purpose is to get each other re-elected.
We elected Trump because he is NOT ONE OF THEM. He said "drain the swamp".
My Daddy said it better, "you can't get the water to clear up until you get the pigs out of the creek".
Whichever country you are from probably has it's own issues, so why don't you go back there and study what's going on in the mind of your "Average Countryman"? Get them folks straightened out with your superior intelligence and intellect! That way you can leave us with Trump who has the courage to speak the truth and, be sure, we will elect him again.
Say what you will now because I won't react to your mindless drivel again, like my Daddy used to say, "don't wrestle with Pigs, you'll just get all muddy and the Pigs will love it.
Good Day Mate !
P.S. Don't be a sesquipedalian!
