Two groups of fools got together last weekend and acted like fools. Trump said they were all fools, and you want him to go because he's "racist?" Me thinks you are too many Scovell Units in hot peppers and it fried your poor Canuck brain.

I do eat way too many scovilles, you are right. It has perhaps gotten to my brain. However, calling people who are violent against neo-Nazis, white supremacists, etc., "fools" is like saying that those who stood up and fought against National Socialism in Germany and Fascism in Italy from the early to late 1930s were "fools".

I pray that things settle and people return to their senses before any more people are hurt or killed. On a whole, we need less hate and more love in this world. The President of the United States of America has the lost the plot. He will not make America great again. :( I love your country and it pains me to see what is happening.

The BLM and Antifa idiots who fought against the KKK idiots are just opposite sides of the same coin. Neither of the groups fighting in Charlottesville represent me. Are you willing to say you're represented by one side or the other?

Not at all. Whether or not they are wingnuts on the opposite is not the problem. The problem is, Donald Trump decided not to firmly and utterly condemn the resurgence of National Socialism & Fascism in Virginia. People marching with swastikas need to be shut down with the harshest of terms and penalties. History is cyclical and the masses who don't understand the past are the ones who repeat it. It is very frightening and sad. :( I am keeping your great nation in my prayers as I always have...

Actually,
Jus because a liberal
cant understand why our President ,
a HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL businessman,
does what he does
that doesn't mean he's lost the plot.
Did you even read Art of the Deal?
Its not about politics.
Phony news has no place in business.

In the 80's and 90's I spent a great deal of time working internationally. In the late 1990''s I begin to tell people I knew that I was watching the "Balkanization" of our country. Each time I would come back to the U.S. I could see the impact of the Clintons and the fanatical liberal left as they strived to destroy the culture and history of the West and South. Under Obama, Pelosi and Reid this attack only intensified.
As the internet grew and expanded the techies, and snowflakes found they could bully and vilify any person or business they wanted to target. Now because of Political Correctness, no Politician or anyone else will speak the truth for fear of the incoming internet nuclear missile attack.
Enter Trump who cannot be cowed into submission by these tactics and the temper tantrums started and continue. We can only hope these mentally challenged spoiled brats hold their breath and kick and scream until they fall on the floor and pass out.
Perhaps then the adults can re-enter the room and bring some much needed sanity to the discussion.
But make no mistake, the cultural civil war has begun, and eventually everyone will be forced to choose a side. Which one will you choose?

This isn't the reestablishment of the KKK, they've always been around. And they are not in charge! Protesting them is NOT the same as those who protested the Nazis in 1930s Germany. To think they will become the ones in charge is truly foolish!

Not my own idea, but equating the Antifa idiots to the guys that stormed the beaches at Normandy is silly. These hipster, nouveux Marxists would spit in the faces of those guys. One time, anyway.

I dont get it....Trump doesnt immediately come out and denounce these characters and he has got to go. Obama could not utter the words extreme radical terrorism and he was a Godsend. Doesnt make sense.

Very interesting to hear the opinions on here. This is something that gets left out of every media establishment no matter their political leanings... what the average American thinks of the current presidency. Major media outlets seem to report only the wingnuts on either side of the coin cause that is what gets ratings.

Now for those of you who voted for/support Trump, is there anything he could do (or not do) to change your opinion of him? I ask because during the previous administration there seemed to be a huge divide and nothing could bridge it.

One of the main reasons there is a huge divide, as you term it, is that no one listens any more.......... they just talk............

Citizens United. Not the conservative 501 (c)(4), the Supreme Court Case.

Corporations are people. Though they have no feelings, bleed, or die they can give all the money they want to support, or, defeat a candidate or cause, mostly, without anyone else knowing who they gave how much to.
