OBK: Yup... I'm surprised there wasn't techo (euro dance) music playing during his speech... heck it might even replace our national anthem. *sigh*

Speaking of idiots though, wtf is wrong with people on Black Friday? I think stores need to install a series of many turnstiles and cattle runs to keep people in a single file line. Either that or be smart like most people and shop at home with free shipping instead of losing a few teeth to a granny bent on getting that $7 MP3 player that her grandkids are going to fake liking at Christmas anyway... LOL ;)

Exactly........ But at least we'll have a known crooked politician instead of an imbecile in the White House.

That's what I thought too.
I've not seen Drifter post in a while. Hope he's ok.
BTW Topher, I read the Canadian immigration website was over whelmed and shut down.

I guess the Canadians don't really want the tired, poor, huddled masses either.

I think this needs to be the quote of the month from Granger:

I have not been a Trump supporter, but I do figure this......he is a multi Billionaire. You don't take a million dollar loan from Daddy and turn it into multi billions by being a stupid man. In his life he has had people in his life smarter than him at their specific jobs and he has listened to them....I believe he will do the same here. He will put together a cabinet of people who know how and can do their job and he will listen to them to make those decisions. His arrogant, pompous, belligerent behavior has been an act to get the votes needed to win. Now the act is up, he will let the people he places in these positions do their jobs. He is in show business after all.

And one who is smarter that all those around him, both friends and foes, unlike the one who preceded him....

I'd recommend anyone who is interested in President Trump to visit Scott Adams' (Dilbert) website. I find his thoughts on Trump intriguing.

In response to Mr. Adams last comment regarding the U.S intelligence capabilities, it is apparent he is woefully inadequate to make comments regarding this if he is not aware of all the facts. True our intelligence gathering capability is mind boggling but do not be so naive as to assume that we do not monitor all military operations throughout the world.

I'd have to agree with you Smokey. I will say it was a mind-boggling demonstration of American military capability to send 60 cruise missiles to totally wreck an air base, and do very little collateral damage. A very sober reminder that Trump ain't that wussy 0bama.

And nothing they could do to stop them.....

I think it is time for Mr. Trump to go... this is... wow. Holy moly, truth is, indeed, stranger than fiction. Even Stephen King couldn't write something more bizarre or horrifying than what is happening this past 5-6 days.

I think 5 cops being ambushed is pretty "horrifying". I don't see anything that Trump has done being a factor in what's happened the past week..

Odd. You don't seem fazed by Mr. Trump's comments and behavior since last Friday.
