Heck - I heard a rumour he held open a door for a little old lady with a Vote Democrat sticker on her walker the other day. If he keeps doing crap like that, we're going to all have to quit being nice to him. Oh well, at least the little old lady didn't have an Obama sticker on her walker.

If Pete did that, he needs to get off the meds.

Filmore was evicted. I will be adding to the blog later this evening. I seemed to have slept most of yesterday. Today I feel like I've been beat with is stick, but I am minus both a mediport and a feeding tube so all is good.
Over all I'm up to about 80% and making progress. Thanks for the support.

On a side note, I oversee care for ladies and gentlemen with the "Big C" on a daily basis, so continued progress is a blessing.. We are all keeping you in our prayers, and pray you hit that 100% mark very soon!!

WOOHOO!! So this means any care packages we send should contain actual food as opposed to cans of Fillmore Juice, correct? Any foods you need to avoid? Scorpion peppers perhaps?

A soon as those taste buds rehab we need to head off for some fish bait. The shashimi is rumored to be wicked good over at Pirahna Shushi

But if your gonna do that he can probably already handle some of those hi dollar fish eggs and some mashed up goose livers.

Plus, Pedro's the one that started me eating that fish bait. He can bankrupt an all you can eat shushi bar with one chop stick tied behind his back.

Re: The big C - a nightmare in the making.
The first tiime I ever ate really goodf Sushi was with Fajita Pete many many years ago back before it became tres fashionable - at some dive of a restaurant, hole in the wall in some Dallas suburb. I was in culture shock desperately looking for the section of the buffet that consisted of fish fully batter and fried (yeah it was an all you can eat raw fish buffet) while Pete was snickering no doubt - but that was some seriously GOOD stuff and I was an immediate convert once I forced the first morsel. Sadly their is no sushi/sashimi is West Texas - true we have "sushi" rolls at the HEB deli counter and while it won't gag you it's definitely not on par with the stuff Pete can track down. I also discovered that tasty green paste that'll clear out all your sinuses in 0.5 seconds and became a wasabi addict.

Nah, you wouldn't mind the sushi part - thats the rice; it's the sashimi that's the slivers of raw fish decorating the rice. I disremember if they have a special name for the seaweed they sometimes wrap the rice in to make "rolls". I'm sure they do. The rolls are my favourite. Yum.

Re: The big C - a nightmare in the making.
Remember that Budweiser commercial when "wha zup" was really in and one of the guys went in a sushi bar with his girlfriend? The Jap guys were saying wasabi and he was saying whaaaaasaaaaaabi and they went back & forth a bunch of times and it was drop dead funny!
You don't? Oh, ...rats.
