Might be cheaper to pay the fine than the insurances out-of-network fee.

I remember going out in the yard the night before we went camping/fishing with a flashlight trying to catch em' before they went back in the ground when the light hit them. This was in the mid/early 60's, I was 6-7-8. No idea if it was legal then, don't think we'd of been doing it if it was knowing Daddy.

Never thought about it before. Maybe they feel vibration in the ground as you step closer???

Re: The big C - a nightmare in the making.
Might have to find a way to finally take the wife just so I can go too (yes RJ that spells whooped). Boss goes every year. Close to Creede, takes his 5th wheel house and a dirt bike. My problem is I want to see too much, again, alot of it, and share it. Rocky Mountain National Park, that highest paved road in the world - incredible, Steamboat Springs, Vail, Aspen, Rifle (N. of, hunting), Black Canyon of the Gunnison, Central City, the million dollar highway/Ouray, Leadville, Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, Royal Gorge, I could go on... I could spend all summer there. Thanks again Pete.

I hope Pete don't think we jacked his thread, talkin' bout worms an all.
I was prolly 9, in '69, in Aurora (we lived on a street named Ouray) when I went nightcrawler huntin' for first time. I too wondered how they knew I was there!

I saw a PBS special one day on worm calling, you drive a stick in the ground then saw on it with another piece of wood. The worms think it is a mole so they head to the surface to be safe. Ha, you just pick em up. Was kind of creepy seeing all those worms coming up.

Worms don't have eyes but they do have photosensitive cells scattered on their top layer of skin. Survival mechanism since light=bad for a worm.

Doggy, you may love a woman that's hot and smart, but one with both of those qualities wouldn't have a dang thing to do with you. :-)

The thought of being medicated and seeing an image like that kinda gives me the heeby-jeeby's.
