Bearkat already mentioned the scores.. but I had to point out that there must have been some crazy goings on in Paint Rock on TUE.

First the PR girls went into their game 9-0 in district, and Veribest upset them 47-44.

But, to top that off, the Veribest boys also went into their contest at 9-0 in district and, what do you know, the PR boys upset them 81-69. And to start the day, the Veribest boys JV beat PR 62-60. Although I wasn't there, I'm sure these were three very entertaining games.

To the best of my knowledge, three of these squads made the playoffs, with the lone exception being the Veribest girls. But what a nice way for their seniors to end the season... beating a 28-1 team.

Also an interesting note: the PR girls wound up beating every team they played this year, due to the fact that they did beat both of the teams responsible for their two losses on the season (Rochelle & Veribest).

Congrats to both PR teams for making the playoffs. I'll be watching to see if the girls can make a good run in the playoffs. I for one don't want to see such an amazing regular season be erased by an early playoff exit. Time to gear up and make a run!

To the best of my knowledge, here's how the four teams finished:

Veribest girls: 14-14 overall / 5-5 district (4th)
Veribest boys: 19-9 overall / 9-1 district (1st)
Paint Rock girls: 28-2 overall / 9-1 district (1st)
Paint Rock boys: 13-14 overall / 7-3 district (3rd)
