New season....new standouts

Postby ATMmom » Tue Jun 12, 2018 11:36 pm

Everyone in the sixman community knows about Ta’ron, Tippie, and Tracey. Who are the less talked about up and comers? Who are y’all watching to see what they do this year? Who are the work horses that get left out of conversations but that “Star” on the team wouldn’t shine if they didn’t have their help? Who put a wrench in your teams plan on the field and made life difficult for at least two quarters of a game?

What position do these guys play? Any hard to play against centers and linemen?

I agree to keep an eye on Morgan Whitfield from Iredell. State 110 Hurdels Champ and was deadly at times last season.

Both are listed as Defensive lineman but play several positions.

Coltin Gonzales from Blum. Going into his junior year and is a beast. Fast, strong runner who would rather run you over than try to dance around you. He played fullback last season and didn’t get the ball very often due to Bellinger being the workhorse, but now that he’s graduated he will get the ball more often and get the chance to shine. Blum also has several other young players with good potential heading into their sophomore and junior years. Should be a good division the next two years with Abbott and Aquilla.

Hard to ignore returning All-State players

Union hill 6
Mclean 6
Borden county 4

All three teams very strong last year.

I don't know all the names but these teams have some Studs!!!
