No Where Else But Texas
If you didn’t get a chance to see it… PBS documentary ‘No Where Else but Texas” Masonic Home and School. Some great info and pixs on early day football. 2 things struck me… “1922, we only had 19 boys enrolled and we played schools with enrollments of 1200 to 1500 and we not only beat them… we beat them consistently. “ The other was “we knew we were smaller and out numbered but we never had a doubt that we couldn’t beat them”. Credit the coach (Rusty Russell) for that mind set. They gained the media’s moniker of ‘Mighty Mites’ for good reason. Great story.

If you haven't read "12 Mighty Orphans", it's a great read about the Masonic Home school.
