 Re: MC-RS updates
Congratulations to them there Coyotes...they truly proved themselves here tonight. Lots of banter back and forth over who would do what. Some of it maybe backed by good logic/stats, some maybe a bias or two one way or another. But I tell ya, both teams have had an amazing year and deserve accolades both ways for their hard work...especially Richland Springs at 15-0. I'm proud of both teams and really appreciate the way they represented themselves and the game as a whole. Lots of "class" there. I personally thought it would be a much closer game...when you look at Motley County over the years...they have a little tradition there themselves. See their trophy case from the link below: http://www.lonestarfootball.net/team.asp?T=76But all in all you gotta give Coach Burkhart a lot of credit for building a great program through the years. As we've heard him say, "Tradition never graduates". See their trophy case from the link below: http://www.lonestarfootball.net/team.asp?T=34Kudos to both programs...you make us proud to be Six-Man fans! God Bless...

T-rock and RS scrimmaged this year......ask around and see how that went for T-rock?
I wish they would crown division champs and then let those play each other for the complete 6-man championship!
I know its next year and its not the same but maybe T-rock vs RS to open the season in Hico?

 Re: MC-RS updates
The RS vs T-rock scrimmage was the real deal. The hardest hitting from both sides I have seen all year. I wouldn't say the results were definitive (RS 4-1) but they did show that T-rock would have their hands full in a real game. BTW how about Denim Reeves... 12 rushes for 8 touchdowns. That means he was only tackled 4 times in the whole game and one of those was falling on a fumble.

 Re: MC-RS updates
You can't really replace a Denim Reeves but they will reload with Chance Bush at spreadback, who was defensive MVP, he can carry the mail and throw with the best of them. Got some speedy younger boys coming up also. Like they say "tradition doesn't graduate."

I know its next year and its not the same but maybe T-rock vs RS to open the season in Hico? Anybody remember the Texas Cup in basketball (or whatever they called it)? When the D1 and D2 teams played the Saturday morning game after being crowned champion on Thursday.... it ended abruptly because then a state champ ends up going home losing their last game. Some teams had their title and really didn't have the focus. It just wasn't ever really good... sounds great in theory, but one of those things that just didn't pan out. The goal is to win your state title

Why don't you find something a little more original to complain about? This has been talked about for so long it's really not worthy of comment.........

Maybe your comment is just a just a sad picture of our society today. We see it all the time. If someone has more or accomplishes more than I do they must have cheated or taken advantage of someone or maybe just won life's lottery. It surely can't be that they just worked harder or longer than I did. I say congratulations to the Coyotes and coaches who have contributed so very much to the unbelievable success of the team the last decade and more. My hat is off to you!
