We won 53-6, just two years after being shut out 57-0. At the same time, it's nice to get those bench players in the game. Got to develop the future. Last week, we were up 48-0 after the first quarter. The final was 54-0, only six points in the second.

 Re: Overkill vs. Everyoneplays
Varsity 45's and JH 45's are 2 different subjects to me. 1 is joyously appropriate!!!! and the other one is not, if, you consider the JV and JH to be your training grounds to varsity.
HT seems to have given a perfect example of how, in some circumstances, you can do both! Thanks!
Nothing idiotic about it.

gota love it I'm already working on a ranking system. I'm complaining about it. It's so bad right now that I would probably be shot if I posted them....

 Re: Overkill vs. Everyoneplays
sterling city vs sands our varsity had a hard time stopping them. If you put our jv in and let them back in game then we take a very good chance at losing. As far as playing a whole game I think 91-45 is a whole game and believe me a lot closer than a 45

I must really get under skin rainjack, for dogface to say one thing) and you to be that upset, all while you are saying more about his idiocy than I. But oh well. And my month of silence is due to all the morons on here that just blow their post count up. Over the last 2 years the credibility of most of yall has really went down and it's sad to just see that this awesome website is polluted with people like yourself more so than dogface.

Contrary to popular belief, I appreciate our diversity. Brothers fight. They just do. It would be so robotic if we all agreed on everything. I wouldn't even bother bloating my postcount any further.
I love you, Man.

 Re: Overkill vs. Everyoneplays
teams that 45 on a regular bases have an important mental victory going into the next game. it really depends on your team and program but to call kicking a teams butt unsportsman like is kinda unfair to the winning team. you win a game 1 play at a time and coming back from a big loss (or even playing with the team that doesnt stop coming after you) is an important thing to learn for young men, serious highschool promgrams wont give you any favors and a good butt wooping can make a team and the boys on it stronger... my two cents haha

I've been here for ten years, sparky. If it weren't for people like me, dogface, goob, JO, and a few others - this message board would consist of nothing more than a bunch of fanboys like you holding hands and singing kumbaya. Trust me, junior - you gotta do a whole lot more than you have done to "get under my skin". But if thinking you are under my skin makes you feel better about yourself, well then, you just keep right on chanting that little mantra. Tell Stuart Smalley I said hey. What's my post count at now? The crash this summer erased about 1110 posts of mine. I feel like such a noob.

If you really want to get under rainjack's skin, you need to point out his contradictory posts, and his moronic opinions that he calls facts. He's one of the best at talking without saying anything.

Kudos on getting the spelling correct, but you need to learn the definition of the word before throwing it out there to impress your friends. I don't offer opinions. I'm 100% fact-based.

 Re: Overkill vs. Everyoneplays
there is one way to stop the 45 rule and that is to do away with it. the teams i have supported have lost and the rule used it was unsavory at best but i was there till the end to support the team. i have seen fair weather fans come and go as team fares but-- but i have always tried to teach my kids that each game is a war with each play being a battle. you can have a great game and loose and if you thump your chest saying i did my job so its not my fault i don’t need you on the team.... this goes for the teammates in the stands and on Saturday morning quarterbacks, oh yea the Saturday coaches too. i watched a coach one time that taught me a lot lead , guide and teach his team about life and lessons. i was not old enough to be on the field yet but our team beat the other very soundly (im sure they wish they had the 45pt rule). after the game the winning coach told his team to get on the line and they ran 100yd dashes till it seemed each one of them through up. that next Monday usually a day to watch film and a lot of contact and beginning of the next week game plan. the coaches told them to get on the line again so again they ran the complete practice with the same result. im sure by now you'll know what the coach had told them not to do. i learned some humility from watching the people that i looked up to learn a long painful lesson. im not sure why i felt that i should share this maybe is that we all need to have compassion, humility each day. now please do not misunderstand i want to win each and every battle and the war will take care of itself.
PS not one player quit
Where are we as the leaders of our team??? Are we proud of example we are showing the little ones who are watching us? One more thing I learned from my simple words that is I need to look hard and fast at myself as well.
