Is Batle Garden City's QB? If so I'm impressed, and 2006 is the year Rule gave RS so much trouble? Huge difference between a spreadback (TE) and a true tight QB. I would be proud if I was that kid, they had a nice passing game to go along with the electric of #25.

Batla is the QB, very accurate & has a very nice touch on the ball. He will be a Jr. next year.

What is the difference, Highway? They are both point guards, both have receiving targets, both have a run threat. We ran six plays of splitout spread in the 2006 championship game and 55 T-Bird. Six passes were dropped. Is there a difference between a TB and WB who both rush for 300 yards? Is there a difference when a Center or WB catches eight passes and four tds? Is there any difference when a noseguard and LBer chalk up ten tackles? Was there a difference when you and McFarland both scored twenty points on the hardwood??? Ok, probably went way to far that time. HOHOHO

Haha, the Tight QB can't run. Any Spreadback creates the run/throw option while the true tight QB does not. I'm talking about the guy who takes the snap and can't run, which is what this guy that threw for 361 played. GC ran 99% of the time a Jaybird in the state game, and obviously the whole passing game was built on the fact #25 was a great runner, but never the less that kid and the coaches deserve a lot of credit. Now the game was 122-88, he had lots of chances but him and Tyler or any other Spread Back play two different positions. It's a lot harder for that tight QB to have big stats is all I was saying, not trying to go against your massive intelligent Mr. Ethridge.

PS. Yes there is a big difference between me getting 20 and Mcfarland getting 20, if I scored 20 probably means I was 100% from 3 point range or I would be on the bench!

My senior year I scored 19 in one game. That was the record for most scored in a game by Gordon boys that year. I was second highest scorer on the team averaging 9.3 points per game. Stephen Teichman was the highest at 9.6 per game.

We did not win many games that year. LOL

Stop fibbing or you'll see nothing but a lump of coal under the christmas tree. I seem to remember most of your shots being rejected into the six row by a 6'3" jumping jack named Coey. A Superintendent told me you didn't score twenty points in an entire season...

And don't confuse intellect with bsellect.

And I bet you were thinking that superintendent lied to you when we came back down from 24 to 8 in the 1st half, to within 5 with 2 minutes left ;)

We encouraged that comeback by inserting our freshmen the entire third quarter. Some of the boardmembers were worried about another 45 controversy, plus their boys were freshmen.
And I wanted to make sure you understood the bsellect i was referring to was my own.

Merry Christmas HR.

Your correct. I always dreaded playing teams who slept with their basketballs...you ever heard the old '70s song "Basketball Jones" by Cheech and Chong. Youtube has it.
