Bi-District Player of the Week:
Ben Crockett – McLean -26-419 yards, 7 TDs rushing; 1 TD passing; 433 yards total offense; 9 tackles

In a clash of two highly ranked DI teams, McLean carried a slim 44-41 lead into halftime in their game against Nazareth. In the second half the Tigers took control of the game thanks in large part to the offensive efforts of Tiger RB Ben Crockett who scored five of his teams seven touchdowns in the second half. Crockett finished with 419 yards and seven touchdowns rushing on the night.

Honorable Mentions:
Hunter Reese – Sands – 32-406 yards, 7 TDs rushing; 1 KO return TD

Reese had huge gain after huge gain all night running the ball for the mustangs as he ended the night with 406 yards and seven touchdowns on the ground. He also added a kickoff return for a touchdown as Sands beat a very good Grandfalls-Royalty team handily 83-41.

Torrey Hoover – Coolidge – 25-346 yards, 5 TDs rushing; 7-9 for 181 yards 5 TDs passing; 1 KO returned for TD
Hoover brought the full arsenal into the Yellowjackets game against Avalon as he scored six touchdowns and threw for five more as Coolidge beat Avalon 89-63. His 527 yards of total offense tops the leader board in that category this week.

Hunter Williams – Zephyr – 20 tackles, 1 INT
In a highly anticipated game against previously undefeated Medina, Hunter Williams turned in a solid defensive performance notching 20 tackles and picking off a pass helping to stifle the Medina offense and help Zephyr win a tight 58-32 game and advance on to the 2nd round.

Hunter Clark – Blackwell – 4-102 yards, 4 TDs receiving; 3-75 yards, 2 TDs rushing
With just seven touches on offense Clark scored six touchdowns! All four of his receptions went for touchdowns and all seemingly came at big times in the game which help Blackwell serge past Guthrie on the scoreboard to claim a 61-14 win.

Chris Albus – Whitharral – 20-174, 3 TDs rushing; 5-5 for 46 yards, 1 TD passing; 10 tackles, 1 INT on defense
Several players stepped up to aid Whitharral in their 70-38 upset win over Motley County, but Albus’ team leading 174 yards rushing and 46 yards passing help drive their offensive attack all night. He also picked off a pass on defense and was in on 10 tackles.
